A coin has two sides, one is considered the head and the other, the tail. This distinction is inherent in knowing its proper use, function and value. Each side differs, but is bonded in unison.
In a similar way forgiveness is fused to repentance, each is one side of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other. One cannot be expected without the other deliberately given.
One cannot be reaped if the other is not sown. The forgiveness you desperately need is held hostage to your willingness to repent. You cannot demand grace while refusing to give it.
As the coin comes double sided, these two things are intertwined and connected at the root. If you let repentance be your seeds, then forgiveness will be the harvest.
1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
