I only have one action and reaction it is LOVE. Even in MY chastising and MY correction is LOVE. I love you when are right and I love plus grace when you are wrong. Love is in MY rod and also in MY staff.
A rebuke from ME gives life and MY discipline leads to life. Seek MY reproof and you will grow, acknowledge MY presence and you will thrive. There is pain in pruning, but this will produce more in you.
MY correction leads to growth and maturity. MY discipline is a reestablishing and a second chance. Seek the LOVE in my admonition and you will live. The hand of rebuke and the hand of restoration are the same.
A fool thinks he is wise and will fight to be right, no matter the wrong he has done. Be wise and accept the responsibility, in both the good and the bad behaviors. To accept due correction will bring you honor from the Lord and men.
Proverbs 17:10-12
A single rebuke does more for a person of understanding than a hundred lashes on the back of a fool. Evil people are eager for rebellion, but they will be severely punished. It is safer to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than to confront a fool caught in foolishness.
