The role you are playing, is not who you are. It is a role that situations have required. You have been a friend, a confidant, a healer, a counselor and at times a savior. This is what had to be, for those seasons and for those critical moments.
In this, you have lost your identity. What you do and who you are, are decidedly very different things. You have misinterpreted a role, as the reality and it has become a limitation. You are more than a mother, a father, a son or a daughter.
You are an eternal being, empowered with the full authority of Heaven. The best is coming. Your latter days are going to outshine your former days. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the fullness of who you are, in ME.
All you have seen, learned and experienced was needed to prepare you for what is coming. It is not over for you and I have much more for you to accomplish. You are thinking too small. It is time to revive the visions. It is time to move from survival mode, back into vision mode.
Job 8:5-7
If you would earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy, if you are pure and upright, even now He will rouse Himself on your behalf and restore your righteous estate. Though your beginnings were modest, your latter days will flourish.
1 Cor. 2:9-10
