#81 – Let it Go

Let it go. They offended you. They lied about you. It was egregious, shaking you to the core. You have been abused and you were purposely deceived. You have been hurt decidedly and people have set themselves against you.

Let it go. Their words pierced your soul in hurtful and intimate ways. The pain and the fear of reoccurrence has hindered your growth causing an emotional immaturity. The trauma triggers exist as remnants of the offense.

Let it go. You are easily offended and you are bouncing from offense to offense. Your ears hear and perceive what is not real. Your eyes are drawn to the negative and you find insult where there is none.

Let it go. I can heal you and I can free you from this self-made prison. The full measure of who you are is limited by this condition of resentment. The parts of your heart that should be filled with ME are occupied by hurt.

Isaiah 43:18-21
“But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new.See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.
