Lay down your ego and mind how you lap the water up. The spirit of Gideon is watching to determine who is battle ready. Are you mindful in all things or do you have a manner of consumption that is reckless.
This season requires deliberate warriors, that esteem objectives over pleasures and assignments over the carnal trappings. You cannot defeat the enemy, with theological arguments.
I can do more with an obedient heart, than a sacrificial heart. The deliverance for you, your family and your people is in obedience to MY voice. This trust & reliance in ME is how the way, comes out of no way.
The things that you have lost and the things that have failed were cut away. I am pruning each of your advantages, so that the coming victory is not mistakenly attributed to you. I am the Lord, it is MY sole authority to deliver you.

So Gideon brought the people down to the water, and the LORD said to him, “Separate those who lap the water with their tongues like a dog from those who kneel to drink.” And the number of those who lapped the water with their hands to their mouths was three hundred men; all the others knelt to drink.
