What you have been assigned to do, has not been done before and people will reject it, because of fear. In the rejection you can find a peace. The rejection will keep you humble and it will ensure, that no one will have MY Glory.
Men will let you down, because they are flesh. This disappointment is an intricate part of the process. It will build sincere humility and stamina. Character is formed from adversity and pressure is designed to form diamonds.
If you seek too closely the approval of men, it can replace MY voice and MY calling for you. Being seen as weird or off is a hard thing, but a good thing. It severs the umbilical cord connected to a need for validation by your environment.
Long term effectiveness is better than short term popularity, your contemporaries are not needed to accomplish MY will for you. A day is coming when you will be exalted, because you were meticulous and fervent in exalting ME.
Ephesians 2:4-6
But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
