#157 – Pearls to Pigs

You are better than your resume’ and your intrinsic value is greater then what men perceive. The wrong perception can be costly, but also dangerous. Your value is not in question, but a questioning of the atmosphere you have submitted to.

A precious pearl presented to a hungry pig will be ingested. Swallowed whole and then discarded. The pig does not have the capacity to know the pearl’s worth, nor does it care. As the pearl is passed through the pig’s digestive system, the pearl is soiled, but not diminished.

The value of the pearl has not been lost. The beauty is the same, beyond the environment and beyond the filth, because none of that matters to the One who truly knows and desires the pearl. You are MY pearl.

Because I truly know you and I desire to have you, your value remains and your stock is rising in ME, through your faith. The value of the pearl is in the identity, the true value is irreducible and secured by the one who sets value to all things.

Matthew 7:6
Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
