#164 – Smiling on the Outside

You have everyone fooled. I see you smiling on the outside, while you are dying on the inside. You have convinced them all, but not ME. I know you, the real you. I can see the little boy and the little girl inside you, languishing.

The world is celebrating you and is in awe of who they perceive, but deep down you are a fraud, a fake version of a genuine article. The sparkle, the charisma is not real, it is a coping mechanism and a deflection from a perfect you.

How long will you lie, Lie to the world, lie to those around you and lie to yourself? You were made for more and for something greater. You were made perfectly and in MY image fulfilled from the beginning’ lacking nothing.

The fake ‘you’ can make an impression, but the God authorized you, can break generational curses, heal relational wounds and disrupt demonic oppression. The mission is clear, find the real you, position yourself for purpose.

2 Corinthians 13:2-9
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! I hope you will find out that we have not failed the test. But we pray to God that you may not do wrong—not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.

  1. OMG!!! ‘Smiling on the outside.
How many people will admit that somewhere along the journey called life we’ve all been guilty of it. Thank you Lord for showing us ourselves and challenging us to be REAL.
Thank you Lord for challenging me to be real that I could be healed.
