Pray for clarity and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the areas in your life where there is compromise. There are some mindsets, attitudes and behaviors that were established by the old you, that are a hindrance to the new you.
There is a grit and a mentality that was useful and perhaps required to survive in a former environment. That season has passed. It is fine for a caterpillar to crawl, but not a butterfly, when it can take flight.
There are some familiar spirits, generational curses and demons that have been rebuked, but you have given them new license to operate. Stop it. It is impossible to dance with darkness or depression and not walk away with a shadow.
Freedom is not free, it will cost. The currency is delayed gratification, denial of flesh and restraint. The power to enjoy the freedom of what you want, requires a discipline and a mastery in the avoidance of things that contribute to a lack of control. Freedom is self-control.
Psalms 119:43-46
Do not snatch your word of truth from me, for your regulations are my only hope. I will keep on obeying your instructions forever and ever. I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. I will speak to kings about your laws, and I will not be ashamed.
