#299 – You are worth dying For

You are the prized treasure of Christ. His love is for you, forged by His immutable sacrifice made on the cross. His love was not only spoken, but radically demonstrated. He proved his love and reestablished his covenants with His own blood.

There is no higher price paid, than to give ones own life. Christ did more than die, He suffered the humiliation, the shame and the disrespect of the very people, He was dying for. Satan used that moment to make a spectacle of Christ.

Every painful lash was for you. The mockery was for you. The plucking out of his beard was for you. Each time he was spit on was for you. Him being stripped of clothing, near naked and paraded through the city was for you.

You are worth dying for. You are worth the embarrassment of men. You are worth the shame of an entire people. You are worth the disrespect and condemnation of the world. You are worth the most horrible death known to man. You are worth dying for.
