#306 – Will You Choose Peace?

What good have you produced in an angry state of mind? Have you won a single soul for my kingdom, through an angry outburst? If anger should overcome you, express it in a wholesome productive way and be mindful to avoid crossing the line of sin.

In the fever of missed expectations and disappointments, emotions can run high and rationale runs low. Refuse to give the evil one any indictments against you and do not allow a day to be resolved, without resolving your anger.

Extinguish every form of anger, bitterness, quarrels, debates, fits of frustration, points of contention, slanderous speech and differences of opinion for the sake of peace.

No argument, no disagreement or discord is worth your peace. I am the Prince of Peace, I run heaven and earth from a place of peace. I prefer for you to be whole, while your anger may be justified, it cannot hold peace hostage. Will you choose peace or let anger win?

Ephesians 4:26-31
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
