Every opportunity that comes your way and looks good, may not be a blessing or the best option for you. There are many good things, that can lead to compromised outcomes.
Consider each aspect of your business and personal relationships. Has the season changed? What I use to bless you in one season, can be the blockage to your next season. The thing is not good nor bad, but how you relate to it.
The promised land to Israel was a blessing, but I AM the one that blesses. Whatever you have or do that becomes more important than ME is an idol and possessing that gift, has now become idol worship.
I AM a jealous God and I will have no other Gods before ME. Israel fell into bondage because of this, they wanted what the gentiles had. They failed to remember the One True and Living God. Look to Israel and learn.
Exodus 20:5
You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.
