#324 – Love, Listen and Lead

The hard thing is the better thing. I am asking you to love some people, that are hard to love. They are manipulating and usurious, but they are my sons and daughters. Will you love them despite them?

Will you take care of my sheep? In spite of their evil ways and the selfishness, I love them and they are still family. You are the light, that I have sent into their world and the only light they may see.

It is easy to cut them off, the hard thing is to love them through the character flaws. To be faithful, even when they are untrue and to treat them based on who they are versus how they behave.

Your assignment from on high is to love, to listen and to lead with patience. As Christ was misused, abused and lied about for a glorious hope. I am asking you to suffer for my sake and to stand in the gap for others.

1 Peter 2:19-21
For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
