When the enemy comes in like a flood, he is limited to the permissions I have granted. He can neither add nor subtract from the powers, I have allowed. He is merely a pawn and is still subject to MY will.
Focus less on what you are losing, but on what is being built. Look beyond what is done and toward what I AM doing. The hard times build muscles, strength and tenacity that can only be formed this way.
Avoiding the struggle is to avoid the growth it produces. Avoiding the sufferings is to avoid the humility. Where you are stretched, you will have growth and where you are tested, you will yield fortitude.
Embrace the strengthening. Embrace the straightening. Embrace the growth. Embrace the renewal. Embrace a different way to view things. See this moment in a new light and in its true advantageous way.
Isaiah 59:19
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
