#401 – Refusing to be Limited

A reputation can be lived down, no matter how accurately it reflects your former life. A momentary lapse is not the end, but simply a failed test, take the time to understand it, acknowledge it and do better.

Where you are now is not a surprise, nor a secret for ME. Jonah was still obligated whether in MY presence, on the ship or inside the belly of the fish. It can be either obedience or the lack there of, that accomplishes MY will.

Let your perspectives flow in and out like the tides, refusing to be limited by stale mindsets. All that is new, will eventually be seen as dated and day is coming when all the previous versions of you will expire, if you say so.

What is old to some can be viewed as seasoned to another, what is seen as novice, from one angle, can be seen as innovative from another. An entry level job can be looked upon as trivial or considered as an opportunity filled, paid internship.

Jonah 1:14-16
So the men cried to the Lord, “Lord, please don’t let us die because of this man’s life; please don’t think we are guilty of killing an innocent person. Lord, you have caused all this to happen; you wanted it this way.” So they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea became calm. Then they began to fear the Lord very much; they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made promises to him.
