#424 – Chasing the Demons

Eventually the voids, that matter in life cannot be filled with things. They can only be filled with everlasting aspects of ME. Money, fortune, fame or possessions, none of them will fill you like MY presence.

Spending efforts impressing people, who matter less over time and who cannot assist you in finding what you truly desire are exhausting. You are made to have peace, eternal power and unlimited fulfillment.

Chasing all other things ends the same way, in disappointment. First it is ambition, then it is achievement and then it is Legacy: these worldly excuses for satisfaction have eluded most, but divine fulfillment can be had on every level.

The remedy is in letting the traumas go, seeking to offset an internal hurt by accomplishing an external goal. In the heart of your pursuits are you chasing the demons or have the demons given chase?

Psalms 18:36-40
You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way. I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed. I crushed them so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet. You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me. You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes.
