A warrior fighting a spiritual fight overcomes by rightly dividing what is assertive and aggressive versus, that which is combative and offensive. A spiritual warfare is not waged with carnal resources.
When an enemy is cornered, he will fight you to the death, but if you feed him, clothe him and take a real interest in his well being. Then the enemy is defeated from within, his loyalties will be divided because you have saved his life.
A wounded man is an easily offended man. The offense puts a man on his heals, where he is carnal, but a man on his toes is operating in the divine. His spirit, his soul and his flesh are working in unison.
