When pressure reveals your heart, believe it. There is no greater coercion, than the offense experienced in one’s heart. It is an internal mechanism, that conveys its own crisis.
Offense’s onset can be quick and it reveals how you really feel in the moment. Anger, embarrassment, intimidation, surprise, shame or even confusion are all logical responses to an affront.
While it is logical, is it reasonable? Does it produce the outcome you seek? Does it reflect the anointing that flows in you? Will it undermine all the work you have built, over time? Is responding to the infringement worth the costs?
If you stand in the knowledge of what the offense has revealed. You will be an immense benefactor to what it unveils. There is a benefit to offense handled properly, it will open the door to a greater level of anointing, clarity and purpose.
1 Peter 1:7
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
