Feelings are great indicators and poor navigators. Allow what you feel to inform you, but not to control you. The ability to harness your emotions, like the wind will make you stable and a source of strength for others.
The emotional tossing to and fro makes you unreliable. Confidence in all things comes from what is proven over time and what can be predicted. Are you reliable or are you unpredictable in the things you say and do?
The presence of emotion is not bad, it makes you human, but to be emotional, when logic should prevail is a problem. If you subject your feelings to MY will, your emotions become slaves and then do your bidding.
Emotions that you control are powerful, but emotions that control you are deadly. The god of every bad decision is unbridled emotion. It has been the Achilles heel of many and caused the fall of countless great men.
