The spirit of failure tries to attach itself to people, but failure can only be used to describe a moment. The business could fail, the plan can fail, the scheme can fail, even the marriage may fail, but people are not failures.
Why, because the same life, that birthed the original vision is yet bubbling inside you. Pieces on a chessboard will be lost, but the object of the game never changes. No matter if a move is right or a move is wrong, always protect the King of your heart.
Be willing to let go of popularity, possessions and positions, in order to maintain your peace. There is nothing more important than your tranquility, because in a peaceful mind, I can commune. This is Eden, MY cool of the day.
Question yourself as you lament a loss. What were you really chasing? Have you forgotten the reason for the race, by paying to much attention to the applause. People will clap for those that enter a contest, but the honor only goes to those that finish.

You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.
