Your feelings about a situation and the facts may not align. David did not always have the same enthusiasm, he experienced when facing Goliath and yet he is a symbol of courage. Solomon did not always feel wise, but his wisdom endures.
The glory bestowed upon a moment may be recognized posthumously, while those behaviors in the moment are nothing less than glorious. The reality of a situation and the emotions connected to it can be conflicting.
Forget your feelings and focus on the assignment. Focus on the principles and remember the reasons for the work, I have called you to do. I hid Joseph in the nation of Egypt for years, until the appointed time, to save MY people.
Like Joseph, you are also hidden. You are MY secret weapon to solve a very specific problem. Take heart, take heed and take notice because MY glory follows you, MY anointing carries you and the assignment authorizes you.
Genesis 50:19-21
But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
