You have been victimized, but you are not a victim. Being a victim is a mindset and victimization is an experience. You are not what you have gone through and you are not what people see. The scars only tell half the story.
You have survived the unimaginable and you have overcome the enemy’s most staunch attacks. You are an example of resilience and your life is what victory looks like. The devil knows your name.
Man may never see the value, that you possess, but your true worth is accounted for in MY everlasting Kingdom. You have defied the odds. The enemy tried to destroy you and he failed. He tried to kill you, but you are living.
Every breath and every heart beat are acts of defiance in the face of a mighty foe. You are a walking and a talking testimony of faith. Many will live, because you chose not to die. Many will survive, because you refused defeat.
1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
