#581 – Resist to Urge

You are undervalued and will always be, because you are measuring yourself against the wrong standards. A valuable person in this world depends on fleeting perceptions. Things are assigned value by inconsistent opinions.

In MY system, the quality comes from within and not from a layer of veneer or paint. The world is easily impressed with a facade and by what sparkles in the sun, that does not last beyond a real trial or storm.

The durable outlast the popular and the consistent is better than the impressive, because time tells all. Whatever exists despite the odds is build on the rock and the pressure of life distinguishes, the real from the fake.

Resist the urge to build fast and to build for the accolades of men. Do the work, it is not easy and it is not popular, but it will endure. It endures, because it uses truth and quality as the cornerstones. Build your life on ME, because all else will fail.

Psalms 127:1
A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
