What things appeared to be and what they actually are, may be very different. The need for comfort and ease, while in transition is an illusion. What are you protecting, an image or some semblance of pride?
This is the case with most men, many want to protect a reputation, more than embrace what, they are called to be. The longer you resist, the longer the process will be extended. Becoming you is hard.
The process is not about, what it looks like or what it feels like. The work is in ignoring the past pains, present pressures and future trepidations, to emerge and become the predestined version of you.
The obstacles will be traditions and societal pressures. The enemy’s will be your emotions and the way you feel. This life long process is the maker of both, great men and weak man. Your mind, that day will determine, which.
2 Timothy 1:8-9
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
Amen. The way of the transgressor is hard.
