A leader needs no title. The circumstances are his mandate and the outcomes his review. Leadership is a calling and the calling is without repentance. Lead where you are led and do not shy away from that responsibility.
Many look for a place to lead, that they can be known for leading. True leadership gets no spotlight and will be know to only a select few. A leader is recognized most in his absence, he fills a void, that goes unnoticed until he is removed.
A authentic leader does not need honor, credit or celebrity to lead, it will be done anyway, because the nature to lead is within him. Whatever the leader touches is changed, because of his leadership.
Lead by example and lead where you are. What you have in hand is enough, open your mouth and let your gifts flow. The people that need you are ordained just as your gifts are predestined.
Luke 22:25-27
Jesus told them, “In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called ‘friends of the people.’ But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? The one who sits at the table, of course. But not here! For I am among you as one who serves.
