If you choose to lose your temper, a reputation could be lost forever. People will not judge the good in you, they will remember the one percent and the instance, that patience and composure was lost.
Be mindful of the build up, be mindful of managing and mitigating your feelings. You are human and anger is natural, you will be torn, offended and at times defeated. The way you expressed it is key.
Anger alone is not the problem, but what the anger reveals in you is. Anger that festers causes long lasting harm, it is gangrene, it contaminates from the inside. Address it, the worst thing to do is to do nothing.
Find a balance between your emotions and your standards, it is in your most violated state, that your core values matter. A foundation is proven in a storm, the winds expose what is weak and prove what is strong.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.
