#627 – The god Of Applause

If no one goes with you, if no one claps for you, if no one assists you along the way and if there is no applause, will you still do it? This is the difference between a calling and a cause, many are called, but few have a cause.

Until you begin to function and flow in your assignment, regardless of who supports you, then you will always be subject to the god of the applause. A god that is never pleased and always requires more.

Look around, men are drunk on attention. What they buy, where they live, what they do and every thought is driven by a desire to appear successful, strong or in control. Today a lie is far more attractive, than truth.

The answer is in being sober minded, refusing to be intoxicated, by the illusion of power. A drunkard as no place in MY Kingdom, because he does not have self control. He is moved, to and fro, by his passions, he cannot be trusted with MY Glory.

Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.
