#630 – Stay in the Race

Stay on course and do not deviate. There is a power in remaining committed. You are bound to accomplish your task, if you maintain your current force, trajectory and velocity. The enemy at hand is distraction.

Everything around you is saying to slow down, to deviate or to even quit, but those who endure beyond the trouble, beyond the diversions and beyond the fear are the ones who will finish the race and seize the prize.

When pressure comes, stay in the race. When confusion comes, stay in the race. When lies are told, stay in the race. When people betray you, stay in the race. When the finances fail, stay in the race.

Endurance is the distinction between those that are gifted and those that accomplish goals. Each possesses the faculties to complete the task, but remaining in the race is an act of your will.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
