Protect your heart and be on guard for the enemy’s schemes. The anointing you carry draws his attention, because you are a threat. He cannot defeat you, but he will settle for the alternative: delaying, deploying and distracting.
The enemy will look to delay by causing you to miss God’s cycles. This can manifest in spending time, with the wrong people, entering relationships or opportunities that have short term benefits, but lead to dead ends.
The enemy will deploy your dreams, desires or goals prematurely. He will give you, what you want now, allowing you to become or to do, too much too soon. He will give you a short cut, that leads to compromises.
The enemy will distract you with temptations, ways to be offended and frivolous anger. Whatever the vice, the enemy is guaranteed to send it your direction. He will remind you of hurtful past emotions and experiences, to lock you in a spiral of old patterns.
Repent offend and early. Keep your heart, mind and intentions free of agendas. When negative emotions rise up, own how you feel and submit them to the Father. This is not about the appearance of perfection, but using what the enemy means for evil, for your good and being ultimately perfected.
Psalms 121:5-8
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
