#654 – Selectively Picking the Facts

If you look for the truth it will be found, but if you look for the lie you will find it, as well. What you seek is a reflection of your heart and your heart is revealed, in what you seek. Every man is right in his own eyes.

What is true and the truth are not the same. Every feeling, bad decision and emotional outburst can be justified, when selectively picking the facts. All behaviors are the results of a series of prior decisions.

What is right and what is wrong, must be principle based and drawn from a set of core values. Emotions have no borders, passions can misdirect and feelings can influence the greatest of men, to choose wrongly.

Emotions, passions and feelings have a place in the human experience, that you must master. When instinct overrides intuition, bad decisions abound. When bad decisions become the norm, a life is derailed.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
