Are you chasing the applause? It is an illusion to seek the world’s affirmation. The carnal driven soul is never filled. You will never be enough for the insatiable desires of men.
The standards change from minute to minute and from good to bad, in the blink of an eye. The flesh cannot be satisfied, because it is designed to return to its original form, ash and dust.
An external affirmation does not substitute for what is confirmed from within. The need for affirmation leads to control, but confidence, that brews from your belly is authoritative.
Do the harder thing and look inward, find the virtues I have hidden there. Dig deeper and begin your journey in discovering you. Affirmation has run its course, it is now your season for confirmation.
1 John 3:20-21
For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God.
