#668 – Pretending to be Invincible

Is it the man or is it the moment? The enemy is a constant and a thorough reminder of where you have missed the mark. His job is to remind you of your past failures and to convince you, that the ignoble you is the real you.

The embarrassing things you have said, the regretful things you have done and the behaviors, known as your reputation, represent not who you are, but rather moments in time.

If the enemy causes you to operate in a present moment, based on a past feeling or a past mindset of failure. He will skillfully use the past, as an enemy against the present and the future.

The remedy is in refusing to give him a foothold, by admitting the weaknesses, from the past and by submitting them to ME in prayer. There is no need in pretending to be invincible, in the presence of an Invincible God.

Isaiah 43:18-19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
