There are 100 pounds of remorse in a pound of flesh. Exactly revenge from the people that hurt and harmed you is a waste of your time. I AM the only one that can handle vengeance.
As a human heart seeks vengeance, the spirit of revenge consumes all. Eventually, you lose the ability to distinguish your thoughts from the thoughts of vengeance and priorities become muddled.
This is the enemy’s snare, to ultimately disrupt your forward progress, by causing the past to influence the present and create a ripple in the future. It is simply not worth it.
Find a way to forgive, find a way to heal and find a way to let it all go. There is a point where the past is not forgotten, but it is snipped and neutered, in a way, preventing it from harming you further.
