If it all possible, take your time with this hurtful season. Do not rush through it. Allow the process to take its full course and experience each phase, stage and moment.
Journal everything that you can. Right down every single feeling, emotion and thought process. Most of all, right it all down for the purposes of seeing a future contrast.
I firmly believe that nothing we go through is by happenstance, it is all for purpose and it is all for a reason. It will point you, ultimately, to the things, that God has called you to do in this earth.
What you go through is not who you are and it is not the end result. Our journey will take us to the valley of the shadows of death, but if we can avoid the tendency to remain there, the still water will be ours.
Psalms 23:1-4
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
