Refuse to allow the world to take your superpower away, just to fit in. When you compromise the gift inside you, it is equivalent to forfeiture. This is a coping mechanism, that leads to depression.
If you have the gift of forgiveness, then forgive. If you have the gift of hoping, then hope. If you have the gift of believing, then believe. If you have the gift of joy, then spread it. If you have the gift of encouragement, then speak life.
Do not allow the environments, that limit you, to become gods. Take your power back, from the past experience, by addressing them in your present voice and authority.
You lost then, but are not obligated to lose now. Find your fortitude and find a means to forgive. Men will not fully understand you, nor the power you possess, managing this is a part of the process. A fulfilled you is the goal.
Isaiah 61:7-8
Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy. For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
