The best message that you can send to your past foolishness, is to be a fool no more. What you did is done, who you were is gone, all you can focus on now is what you will become.
Your enemy will try to shame you, by causing the guilt of legitimate flaws, to rest in your heart and mind for too long. Guilt can be helpful, but shame is a prison created by the devil.
Anything that robs you of your peace, at its core is demonic. Remember what the enemy does, he comes to steal, kill and destroy. Guilt promotes changed behaviors.
Shame is different, it is more than a feeling, it is a place of bondage. Christ came to set the captives free and your enemy seeks to restrain. That is your sign, whatever adds life and whatever causes death reveals the source.
