Consider what adversity has done for you. You were not popular, but you are strong. You did not always have confidence, but you learned tenacity. You were not selected, but you learned how to endure.
Many seek to pray away the process, but it is the process that builds you. Anything that has value was developed through process. Creation was a process, birth is a process and even death is a process.
The ugly wins matter, the ones that take heart and discipline. The ones that cost you something and the ones, that leave battle scars behind. These are the wins, that require a reckoning, between the old you and the new you.
Charisma and pedigree have a place, but long suffering liberates from the inside. Seek out the hard things and allow them to sculpt your character. When adversity shapes character integrity is formed.
James 1:2-4
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
