The greatest display of a believer is to be empathetic, humble and grateful. This will undermine the enemies attempt to fill your heart with arrogance, pride and ego.
This is the hardest state to achieve, because entry into this exclusive club is paid in pain, hardship and trial. Hard times create either one of two extremes, a heart filled to serve or filled with bitterness.
The pain is yours and because you have free will, do with it, as you please. Nevertheless, if you can give it to ME, I will give you beauty for ashes and make the crooked paths straight.
