#719 – The Cross, the Sacrifice and Persecution

First, it will be dismissed, then misunderstood, eventually disregarded and at some point despised. All of this is necessary, to get you to the point of acceptance.

A great dream equals great responsibility, the integrity required to bring that dream to fruition, only comes through adversity. The cross, the sacrifice and persecution are needed vessels of growth.

There are many guides, mentors and confidants, but this is a cross you must carry alone. This is a strength you must possess and one that cannot be borrowed from others.

In the end, your efforts will be rewarded and the work will fulfill its intended goals, this is MY Covenant with you and MY Promise. You only need to set your face like flint and press forward.

Isaiah 50:4-7
The Sovereign LORD has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will. The Sovereign LORD has spoken to me, and I have listened. I have not rebelled or turned away. I offered my back to those who beat me and my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard. I did not hide my face from mockery and spitting. Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
