#728 – The Fruits of your Heart

Success is a lie that has been peddled to you be the enemy. He is conniving is his coercion to chase his fame at all times and at any cost. Many have fallen for his scheme.

Many have chosen money over ME. Mammon is the pursuit, the passion and the process of possessing money. Mammon is an idol, that replaces a genuine relationship with ME.

This is the distinguisher and the litmus test for your heart. Christ told the rich man to, “Sell ALL your possessions and follow ME.” The rich man could not, because his god was mammon and in the things he owned.

Where is your God? What do you value more than ME?, for some it is money, some power, some pain, some pleasure and some position. What are you depending on more than ME, because the fruit of your lips and the fruits of your heart, do not match?

Mark 10:21-22
Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.
