Pressure reveals, it will reveal the integrity of who you are and what you believe, that no other conditions can. Crisis is a crucible and in the heat of the fear, what you really value and what you actually believe is made known.
For some the pressure is life altering and for others the pressure is life changing. The real you, meets the fake impersonation of you. Focus on improving the person in the mirror, not the public you, but the private you.
The courage is to acknowledge that you are not, who you claim to be. The courage is in doing something about the flaws, according to the potential you. This will be a contrast to who the world encourages you to be.
This is the cost to hearing MY voice. Your obedience will trigger a series of pressures to build a better you. What I AM asking you to do will be countercultural, controversial and inconsistent with the masses.
Luke 14:26-33
“If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.
