My hope is that you do not suffer, but it is only through suffering, that your best heart can be developed. The pain has a precise purpose and the situation has a usefulness.
It cannot be seen in the moment, but eventually it will illuminate your path. It will be clarified in due time and what hurts unbearably now will become the focal point, your future is certain.
Virtue has a cost, that is not easily paid, its price is blood, sweat and tears. Peace will require a sword and freedom is established by restraint. The price is nonnegotiable.
To build what lasts, means the old must be demolished. The tree grows downward before it grows upward. A muscle is strengthened by tearing it down. To gain your life, you must lose it.
1 Peter 4:1-2
Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
