At the end of your worship there is always a god. Where your money flows, where your energy goes, and where your effort shows each points to a god. Your worship is not in what you say, but what you do.
There are many gods that are competing for your heart, your behavior dictates who wins. Words matter less and actions matter more. Who are you serving, with your time, money and resources?
The world will never, in its present form, worship ME. MY Words and MY Precepts will not be popular, because their hearts are far from ME. The spirits of fear and lust are insatiable.
As you resist evil and the snares of the enemy, you will be targeted. You will be seen as odd and considered an adversary. Place no energy in defending yourself, continue to live for righteousness, by exalting ME.
Psalms 46:7-11
The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
