#768 – Master These Three

There are at least three aspects to stewardship: the first is acknowledgment, the second is surrender and the third is faithfulness.

The acknowledgment is recognizing that nothing belongs to you and ALL belongs to HIM. Your accomplishments, your relationships, your reputations, your possessions and your gifts are all HIS and are on loan. To accept that God is the owner of the resources and you are the manager of resources.

The surrendering is the returning back to GOD what is rightfully HIS. The control, the authority and the power must be openly and definitively turned over to HIM. It is a releasing of jurisdiction and a restoration of GOD’s reign in your life.

The faithfulness is about walking in the highest of integrity. It is being committed, capable and consistent in season and out of season. An immutable, unwavering resolve to do what is righteous even when the passions and lusters wain.

The Lord is about to take you higher, higher than you ever imagined and you are about to walk in the shoes of the people, who have mentored you.

He is about to honor your secret prayers, the ones you have not shared with anybody. The ones that are so delicate, so private and so intimate, that you have been afraid to utter or even allow to fill your mouth.

He is about to honor the prayers, that have been written inside your heart. The deep well of promises etched into DNA. Those things promised to your blood line will be retrieved. Every mantle left dormant and every assignment vacated by your forefathers has been placed within your grasp. These are those HE will answer, if you master these three things.

Luke 12:42-46
And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful.
